14 Beauty Products That Have Changed My Skincare Routine

By December 9, 2017Style

From new moisturizers to cleansing balms, I am always switching up my beauty regime. I love trying out new products and learning new ways to keep my skin feeling fresh and blemish free! I’ve tried drug store products and high end detox oils, and in today’s post, I’m sharing ALL the beauty products that I swear by.

My recent skincare routine includes: cleansing with Glossier, hyaluronic serum from Sephora for hydrating, retinol to brighten skin, retinol cream to brighten eyes, and a finishing moisturizer or gel to firm.

 1.Glossier Jelly Cleanser

This is by far my favorite cleanser I’ve ever used. It takes off ALL of your make up and leaves your face feeling so fresh! My mascara is always an issue taking off at night, and this cleanser is tear free, it does the job and takes off every last drop of make up. I also will rub it over my lips if I have a long lasting lipstick that won’t come off. It’s easy to pack and you can throw it in your carry on. BEST. CLEANSER. EVER.

 2. Caudalie Detox Night Oil

This oil is absolutely amazing! It is plant based and detoxifies your skin for a healthier complexion. I use it at night before my moisturizer and my skin feels so smooth in the morning. It’s worth the investment!

 3. Dermalogica Active Moist

I’ve tried a bunch of Dermalogica’s products, but by far my favorite is the Dermalogica Active Moist. It’s light weight formula makes my skin feel super refreshed. I also will use it as a primer before putting on my makeup.

4. Dr. Dennis Retinol Serum

Looking to brighten your skin? Then I highly recommend making the $90 investment in this overnight retinol serum. Dr. Dennis is a genius when it comes to skincare, and this serum is one of my favorite products to brighten acne dullness or uneven texture. Apply this serum before your moisturizer at night and let the serum sink in your skin so that you wake up feeling smooth and recovered.

5. Aquaphor Healing Ointment

This is one of my drug store beauty products that I swear by! This ointment is my go-to product for chapped lips. I also like to use it before applying my lipstick, so that my lips don’t dry out. It’s also great for for taming your eyebrows, or for dry cuticles.

6. Mario Badescu Facial Spray

This facial spray smells and feels amazing! It’s a refreshing, hydrating mist to use anytime of the day! It is formulated with aloe, herbs and rosewater for a pleasant, pick me up for dehydrated skin.

7. Rodial Bee Venom Cleansing Balm

I’m not going to lie, I was super hesitant about this product before I tried it. Bee Venom?! I was sent this cleansing balm by Rodial, and before I posted it, I wanted to make sure it was a product I would recommend. After using it for two weeks, I am so obsessed with it! It melts away your make up, and it warm to the touch. It has melittin pepetide bee venom that plums and firms your wrinkle appearance, Vitamin E that provides anti-oxidant protection, and Vitamin C that illuminates and helps improve skin elasticity. Highly recommend!

8. Skin Inc. Hyaluronic Acid Serum

If your skin is feeling dull or dehydrated, you need to add hyaluronic acid into your beauty regime. I love this serum by Skin Inc. It is reasonably priced, and gives great results. After cleansing, apply a few drops to your skin for lasting hydration. Hyaluronic Acid has helped my skin so much! I use it in the morning and at night and will honestly say it has kept my skin feeling so much more hydrated!

9. MMXV Infinitude

This product is an investment piece at $225, but after using it for two weeks, I’ve loved the results. My skin feels so soft! It helps hydrate, smooth, and brighten your skin. It’s great for after cleansing and can be used to replace your moisturizer, serum, and/or day cream. It’s all in one! Available online and now at Bergdoff Goodman.

10. Clinique Moisturizing Lotion

I’ve been using this facial lotion since I was 16. It absorbs super quickly into your skin, and acts as a great primer before makeup. Have an oilier complexion? Try the Moisturizing Gel.

11. Neutrogena Rain Bath Shower Gel

This is my FAVORITE shower gel. It cleans, softens and conditions your skin and smells amazing. Your skin will feel smooth, soft and renewed. This gel is available at any drug store! I love to order it in bulk on Amazon because it’s THAT good.

12. Dr. Dennis Retinol Eye Serum

Do you have dark circles? Then this is the product you need! NYC dermatologist Dr. Dennis Gross found the combination of the potent antioxidants ferulic acid and retinol, which helps support natural collagen, reduce the appearance of wrinkles. He has so many great products, but the retinol eye serum is by far one of my favorites.

13. Glossier Mega Green Face Mask

This facial mask is made with simple, natural ingredients that conditions your pores. It detoxifies your skin by drawing out oil and impurities. I love the velvety matte clean finish. It doesn’t dry and keeps your skin feeling super soft and refreshed.

14. Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask

If you need to deep clean your pores, this is the mask for you! It helps flush out debris that clogs your pores. It dries and pulls out toxins, leaving your face clean and dirt free!
